Christianity!!!!
What is it? Who is Christ? Who am I?
Ok here is my opinion. You can take it or leave it.....
Jesus Christ was born to a young innocent, possibly 14 year old virgin girl named Mary. Mary coming from royal descent, but now humble from humble means due to the Roman rule. The conception happened as God through the Holy Ghost impregnated her without any sexual connection called "the immaculate conception" ( you just need to have some faith as to how that happened)
Jesus is the Son of God, who is our elder brother. He agreed to come to Earth and get a mortal body to and give the ultimate sacrifice in order to bridge that gap between us and God that Adam brought about by the great fall. Now there was another who wanted to do this, however, his reasons were selfish and self glorifying. Of Course God the Father chose Jesus as he was pure of heart and desired only the salvation of all.
He is the way, the only way by which we can make our way back into God's presence after living in the flesh. He loves us with an unconditional love greater than any creature can imagine!
We are all born with the light of Christ in us.
There is a war that began in Heaven and that still rages here on earth. We are warriors thrown into a playing field with blinders on. Chirst is our captain with always an outstretched hand holding a torch in the darkness. But it is the law of the Universe that we must work to remove the blinders ourselves and reach out and take His hand and look toward that light. It is the Light of Christ that protects us and gives us the strength to fight the darkness.
He gives us commandments, not to rule over us or to limit our experience, but for our own good. When we do our best to follow and keep His commandments, we gain strength and protection in a world of pain and affliction. No He will not take our troubles away or stop bad things from happening to us and around us. He can't for that would be taking away the lessons and trials of which we came to live in the flesh to experience. This is our proving ground. Our School. But what He will do is change our hearts and strengthen our Spirits so that we can work through the tradgedies and trials and strengthen ourselves and those around us. The blessings are so needed and so amazing if we only do what He asks us to do. I call it the strength and know how to make lemon-aid out of the lemons this life hands us.
Everyone has a fear or a hardship that keeps us from doing what we know down deep inside what we should do. We rationalize and convince ourselves why it is ok for us not to follow through: Me, it has always been my fear of rejection or ridicule. I have always been different and unable to get along socially...I am very emotional and when I try to express my feelings into words, the words come out wrong and others interpret it as offensive or down right stupid.
The beginnings:
Only being able to hear certain tones growing up, most of the time I did not understand verbal instructions from teachers, I was to bashful and fearful to ask them to repeat so I would just look at them and not really know what to do. So when they lost patience with me, I would be hurt and begin to cry. This kind of behavior caused my peers to make fun of and bully me. So many years of this gave me a deep fear of going anywhere that I would be in mixed crowds with people I didn't know.
As I grew up, I learned to pretend that I knew what others were saying when I really could not hear them correctly. I got very good at faking it. I didn't realize that I was even doing this until recently when I had a true in depth hearing test. Now I see that through the years many people assumed that I was being dishonest with them and judged me harshly. This just furthered my social anxiety disorders. Doing this exhausts me and when I go out to church, or any social function, I get home so tired that I cannot function.
All my life I have let this stop me from socializing, going to church, and going to auditions etc...Not to mention the anxiety of feeling that others are misunderstanding me and judging me. Then getting angry at myself.
Through the love of Christ expressed to me in the past 10 years though family and dear friends, I have been able to carry my cross and recognize His promised blessings that really do come when we do our best to follow His commandments. One of which is so very important is to Love one Another. and along with that do not judge our fellow man. When I do my best to serve others and think of and pray for others, He is in turn taking care of me, giving me strength and taking care of my daily needs. I am so thankful for the basic Christian up bringing that my Parents gave me.
In the name of My Savior Jesus Christ Amen!

Now here is why I know that the Lord has his hand in all things and everything happens for a reason:
As soon as I finally calmed down and realized what had happened. I began to pray and give thanks for my life and the blessings that have been bestowed on me. I thanked Heavenly Father for the wonderful times I had with my friend Jim and then expressed my faith that "not my will, but thy will" and gave it to God and cried myself to sleep feeling helpless and alone.
The next day my friends came to the rescue; comforting me and letting me know that Jim's condition was stable and that he was going to make it. My doctor agreed to keep me a few more days until my daughter could come from Texas and care for me at home. Home was a basement apartment down 8 cement stairs with a very small bathroom that had black mold.
Over the weeks I healed much faster than expected. My daughter took me to see Jim as soon as I was able. The people at the hospital were so wonderful in helping Jim. After about 10 days he was laughing and talking with a wonderful positive attitude. His left side was paralyzed but day by day things slowly were coming back. This all made us both realize just how precocious life is and we decided to get married. This decision set a whirlwind in motion. By the end of July I found an apartment close by with wheelchair access and a gym for rehabilitation. With help from my children and wonderful friends I was able to move all of Jim's and my belongings. We had the most beautiful wedding. The whole staff of the hospital along with the people in our church put it together in the chapel in the hospital.
A choir put together by some young adults in the area would sing every Sunday to all the patients in the hospital and they agreed to sing at our wedding... and it gets even better... they accompanied me singing the song that Jim wrote for his own baptism. This was my wedding present to him.
Jim came home on Jan 1st 2018. We are finally together! Apart we are disabled but together we are one and can accomplish anything.

All Lives Matter!
Let me state right now that I am Pro Life. I am also all for equality. I also feel that those statements for many are taking on different meanings throughout this Country. Giving people reason to hate, and through tantrums in the street as I call it.
I have come across a lady that has helped put things in prospective.. It's something I have always believed and felt. But her testimony just strengthens my convictions about the how precious life is. I am convinced more than ever that nothing happens by chance. There is a specific reason for everything and everyone. God has a plan for each and everyone of us.
I heard someone say a long time ago that those of us that were born with handicaps and limitations were his angels sent here to teach us how to be better people.
After listening, please feel free to give some feedback

“ONLY HUMILITY WILL LEAD US TO UNITY AND UNITY TO PEACE” ~Morther
Teresa
I celebrate that I am a Woman! I don’t need to march around
freezing my fanny off holding signs with stupid statements to prove anything to
who? Living in the United States of America is a blessing that should be
cherished and earned every day. I have
the freedom to state my mind, to vote, and move around freely, to earn money and then to spend it on what I feel I need to. The freedom to
raise my children the way I want, and to be whatever religion I choose; all
because my ancestors sacrificed to keep those freedoms for me as well as all
who are blessed enough to become citizens of this great country. And yes it is a blessing, not something to be taken lightly.
Yes, before 1920 women had good reason to
march, hold conventions, and demand equality. But now for what? We are throwing
tantrums so that we can kill our babies? Or just because we don’t like the
candidate that the citizens of our great country voted for? Really? Wake up! This is Democracy in action,
we wouldn’t even have the rights we do if it were not for this great Democracy
and that amazing Constitution.
Unfortunately in this age women’s suffrage is stemming from within
our homes. Husbands, fathers, and boyfriends beating and controlling their
women. However, even though the percentage seems a little higher in men, it is
not only the men doing this. There are many controlling women out there abusing
their children, husbands, and boyfriends.
This is what I feel needs to be addressed. I’m sure President Trump would
agree with this. He shows to treat his wife and children with love and respect.
As far as past media sensation…no one is perfect and we all make mistakes and
spout off stupid words and thoughts at one time or another in our lives. God
forgives, why can't we forgive? are we better than God?
The only way that our children, grandchildren, and great
grandchildren are going to be blessed with those same freedoms and blessings is
if we teach them how to live and treat others by example. The selfishness and pettiness of throwing
baby tantrums to get attention that is being displayed in our streets just
because “their candidate lost?” Seriously? Its like the crew of the ship
refusing to cooperate and destroying and sinking the ship because they don’t
like the Captain. This kind of attitude will only cause this country to dwindle
and self-destruct. It’s not going to change anything for the better. They want
to be heard but the only ones that are really listening are the ones who would
rather take away the freedoms that we already have…. I tell these people “please
grow up and talk to your congressmen, learn your rights than use them in a
responsible way before they are taken away. Quit blaming Pres Trump,
quit letting yourself be controlled by the media and take responsibility. You
reap what you sew’.

I DID NOT KNOW......
Anyone who has seen the Mel Gibson’s Movie “The Passion of
The Christ” will remember the man who played the part of Christ if nothing
else. Well now I understand why all who has seen this movie was moved. Even non-Christians,
and even non – religious people were somehow moved and touched by this
movie.
I myself as a Christian was so deeply moved by this movie,
but disappointed that they did not finish the movie with the resurrection. However, what Jim Caviezel shares in his testimony has let me know why
the resurrection could not be shown with this movie. I now understand why this movie had to end when it did. Jim Caveizel came as close to death as any one could by the end of this movie. I was amazed at what I learned.
I have come to love the actor Jim Caviezel from my favorite
TV series “Person of Interest”. I did
not realize until this year that he was the one who played Jesus in the
Passion. When I found out I started to understand why I was so drawn to him as
an excellent actor. It’s not just his “good looks” LOL. I haven’t seen it yet,
but he is also the star of a new movie called “When the Game Stands Tall” I understand that
this is not just another sports movie. I have heard it compares to movies like
Rudy.
I believe we are all children of God and we all were given
special qualities and strengths to help us while serving this mission here upon
the earth. And I do believe that if we
continue to pray and search out God’s will, He will lead us to further learning
and revelation that will ultimately guide us to know His will and to help each other in the journey. I believe more
than ever before now that it was no accident that Jim Caviezel was chosen to
play the part of Jesus Christ in this powerful movie. He has found his mission as a servant of God.
Please sit back and make time to listen to his powerful
testimony and I can promise that you will not be sorry. I strongly feel that
the message he is giving is from our Savior Jesus Christ and it is my message
also, Probably one of the most important messages I have received to share...
Be ready to laugh, cry, and be inspired.

"Behind every door there is trouble"
This was said in church today and its kind of like the popular song "I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes" I'm not the only one that has troubles ! I know it seems like everyone else around has it easy when your trials make you feel like the world is caving in on you. But the fact is everyone on this earth has trials.
The late President Kimball who was the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints while I was growing up said: "Being human, we would expel from our lives physical pain and mental anguish and assure ourselves of continual ease and comfort, but if we were to close the doors upon sorrow and distress, we might be excluding our greatest friends and benefactors. Suffering can make saints of people as they learn patience, long-suffering, and self - mastery."
"No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility. all that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God ... and it is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education that we come here to acquire and which will make us more like our Father and Mother in heaven."

Nothing teaches selflessness and patience better than motherhood; When I was young I loved to dance, but didn't plan on taking up dance as I was short and plump. However, I ended up taking dance in high school because it was the only P E class I could take as my asthma would not let me take normal P E. Taking dance taught me to endure pain, breath, and gave me strength to handle what was to come in my future. (Things happen for a reason) At age 16 I fell 15ft onto a hard floor on my tail bone while jumping on a trampoline without a spotter, something I had been warned not to do. It hurt like crazy but I told no one for fear of getting in trouble. Later my back went into terrible spasms, I was rushed to the hospital but was sent home later with instructions to rest, no ex-rays were taken. Many years later after going through 6 pregnancies and much crippling pain and eventually becoming crippled, I learned that I had broken a wing on my spine and it healed wrong. The pressure of weight gain and carrying babies had deformed my spine to the point of almost severing my spinal cord.
An eight hour surgery was proposed asap with a 50% chance of paralyzing me. Yes I was scared, but I knew that the Lord did not bless me with the joy and wonderment of those 6 beautiful children just for them to loose their Mother when they needed her most. I received a blessing from some Elders there in Billings Mt and I went to sleep with my Husband holding my hand. I woke up 10 hours later and spent the next 30 days completely helpless, unable to move on my own. When the nurses moved me I cannot even describe the horrendous pain that followed. But the Lord was blessing me all the way through. He sent me a wonderful angels in the form of family a friend and neighbor to care for my children and myself through the whole ordeal. Our family was in a small development in North East Montana where the developer had stopped paying the workers. This left several families including ours stuck through the winter with no income. But somehow, we were blessed with a roof over our heads, warmth in terrible winter temps of -40 wind chill. We even had food provided by the near by town. It took me almost a year to learn to walk again. But I was blessed with the miracle of being able to walk again! The Lord provided the way as I endured through this hard and painful trial.
Was it painful and very hard at times? yes, would I do it all over again? Yes! Because I endured, and because I held on, I have 6 amazing and talented children who I love with all of my heart. I even have two grand children!
The Lord tells us in Deuteronomy 31:6,8
"Be strong and of good courage, fear not,nor be afraid of them: for the Lord they God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. and the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed."
Also in 1 Corinthians 10:13:
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able: but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
So please, rejoice in your trials for the blessings they bring! have faith! hang in there! And above all forgive, and don't let it make you bitter, let God make you better!
