Tragedy Fire

Nightmare Fire

March 10, 2012
Last night I received a phone call telling me that Anndrea's house burned down only moments before.  A numbing pain pierced my heart. "Anndrea and Gyneine is ok, but.... the dogs are gone" My heart jumped from relief back to another piercing pain.  They left the dogs in the room and somehow the room caught on fire.  Gyneine called next crying out in both anguish and pain "JoJo is dead, my baby, my friend is gone!" I cried and tried to console her. Oh how I wanted to take her into my arms and console her thank God that she is safe. I spoke to Allisia, their friend, and she said that when Anndrea thought that she had lost Lorelai, she fell apart. They brought Loralai out and said she is alive but needed oxygen. They did so for a very long time. I finally spoke to Anndrea and she cried "Iv'e lost everything, my room is gone and I don't know if Loralie is going to be alright, they are still giving her oxygen."  This is all I heard for the rest of the night. Loralai had to be put down 2 days later.
We found a story on the Boise news and saw this picture where I can see that it is their room and the garage.
I want to thank all the wonderful friends that have come forth to help Anndrea and Gynny. They are such a blessing.  I have no way to be there so You all have been such a blessing. Thank you. I am doing all I can here for them.

    Updates:
Loralia has a sister in Kanab Utah who with the loving help of her owner has begat a beautiful little girl born Nov 8th who will be going to live with Anndrea in January.  We are so thankful that the Lord has his hand in everything and everything happens for a reason. These little spirits are little angels sent by God to teach and supply unconditional love to His children when they need it.

     This is Aria!
The time has come!  Aria is now 10 weeks old and ready to  make the trek to Anndrea.

January  23rd Heather gathered up Aria along with Ashly and the baby Noah and started out from Big Water Utah up to Salt Lake City.  There after an all day ride in freezing cold weather, they arived in Salt Lake where I met her and recieved into my armes little Aria.  I took her home and spent the night assuring her that she is loved and safe.....Then, the next morning she was loaded up into another van with Jessica and Tyler to Boise.
The evening of January 24th they layed eyes on each other for the first time....

    Christmas Card 2011

This is my Christmas Card to You.......

I had the wonderful opportunity to sing in a concert given by the Alumni of my high school.
South High was closed in 1988 and turned into the Salt Lake Community College. Our Accapella was among one of the greatest in the Salt Lake City School District. We sang at churches of all denomiations
all over Utah. In 1978 we went to Hawaii and sang at a national choir competition and took 1st place.
We owe this to a wonderful choir teacher, Mr Richard Torgerson. He is a graduate of South himself and taught choir for many years. He also taught choir in Portland for a while. He now lives in PA and flew all the way here to conduct this concert.  It was a wonderful experience. Jimmy was able to do the audio. And as I was singing I was unable to take pictures.  I am working on getting the video and pictures taken by others. But for now, we have made a recording of the song that I had a solo in into a Christmas Card for you.
Enjoy and have a Very Merry Christmas!

    Photography

    Welcome to Rosie's Photography!

"My eyes are an ocean in which my dreams are reflected"

    -->
First of all, I am an artist, before I had a camera, I would try to recreate the beauty I saw with painting and drawing. I would get frustrated because of the time it took and I would forget small details and somehow much of the emotion I felt when taking in the beautiful sights was lost.  Then I learned how to use a camera......

Since then there has been no stopping me!  This world is such a beautiful and fascinating place and all is just a fleeting moment in time.  I love to freeze time in all its beauty and be able to re live the memories and emotions of that moment. This is my passion.

Each of my photographs have their own special memory and music. Thanks to the help of my family I have been able to put together some samples of my work and passion.
    Enjoy......

    Donny

This handsome young man is my Donny. He has grown to be such a wonderful and strong young man. I am very proud of how smart and handsome he is. I only wish he didn't live 1000 miles away. It was wonderful visiting with him when he came to visit. I hope to see him again very soon, I miss and love him.

    Gynny

Well, just like the rest of my girls Gynny has an amazing voice! She has been doing theater for the last 2 years and loving it.
She is auditioning for American Idle on the 2nd of July in Portland. Then she is also auditioning for the next "The Voice". Lets all wish her the best.
I have no doubt that she will do great! I'll be there cheering her on.

    Chrissie

My Chrissie. She has grown to such a wonderful independent young woman. I am so proud of her. She is in Hollywood working to achieve her dreams. Her voice is so amazing and she is using it to make the world a better place. Check out her website. www.dociousent.biz
I am so excited! I am going to finally be a Grandma! Yes, my oldest son Benjamin and his wife Jessica are going to be Mommy and Daddy! I love my Benjamin so much and my new daughter in-law, Jessica is such a smart and beautiful girl. I have come to love her so very much. It is so hard having them live 1000 miles away. I check Facebook for new pics all the time. I hope they will send me pics all the time. In all the mess of the economy, I am so proud of them because they are both working and keeping a good home for themselves. It is hard having a family so split apart accross the country. I am hoping they will be able to move a little closer so there is a chance I will be able to hold my new little grand baby in the future.

    Update!

I now have two grand children and I am so proud of Ben and Jess. They are good parents.
